Christmas at Roots 2023

It is that time of year again and our Wonderful Winter Market will kick off the festivities and get us thinking all things Christmas, our Christmas order forms are available in the shop and our on line shop is ready for you to just click and collect and of course there is the visit from the Big Man himself. This year are are also holding a Christmas Tree lighting, with singing and warming winter treats, and there will be a grotto in the trees and of course our drive thru so it is super easy to get your Christmas Tree (this year there is even the addition of hot drinks and warm treats while you are picking your perfect tree).

Christmas Pottery and Bauble Decorating

Friday 10th November

An evening of fun pottery with Lisa from The Handmade Mug Company, bring friends for pottery, prosecco and nibbles to start off a Christmas tradition, making Christmas Trees, Angels and other festive treats. Having seen the wonderful items made by children at the summer sessions we can't wait to see what the evening has in store, and maybe the prosecco and nibbles will make us even more festive and artistic!

Roots Winter Market

It is back, the ideal place to start your Christmas shopping while enjoying delicious street food and on the Friday evening a little tipple at our pop up pub.

Some beautiful stalls provided by local small businesses and local people so you can support local while enjoying the beauty of Christmas on the farm

Tree Lighting to sing in Christmas

Friday 8th December 5pm - 9pm

Sometimes you just need a little sing song, a warm mince pie and maybe a Christmas tipple to really get that festive blood flowing - so that is exactly what we are going to do.

There will be festive fun, some special treats and a gorgeous charity twist to spread even more festive cheer to those that maybe struggling this Christmas.

Breakfast with Santa and Santa's Grotto

The big man is back, there will be singing and dancing and story telling and present giving and he will listen to all your Christmas dreams and wishes.

This year along with our Breakfast with Santa, we will also have a very special treat, a grotto in the trees for 2 weekends, if you don't want o have breakfast with the big man but want all the magic, why not book to see Santa, you get 15 minutes with Santa, a story, as many pictures as you like and of course a present if you are on the good list! There is only a charge for Children for this.

Christmas Trees

Available from last weekend of November

Who doesn't love shopping for the perfect tree? As in previous years we have the drive thru to make this as easy as possible and this year we will even have tasty treats available, Christmas music, a grotto in the trees and Farmer George on hand to help pick the perfect tree and even perfect ornament to adorn it.

Trees will be available from the last weekend in November and remember you can tag your tree and collect or have delivered when convenient - as when they are gone they are gone.

We offer both a delivery and collection service so if you want a great tree but don't want needles in your car, let us drop to your door for you and even take it away when Christmas is over.

Christmas Order Form

With all the stress of Christmas, no one wants to be queuing for that special pork pie or because you have forgotten the cranberry sauce, so why not order your turkey, veg, stuffing, even Yorkshire puddings - come on admit it, its a thing!

Place your order, have it all picked and packed for you and you don't even have to get out of your car, as you can follow our drive thru and it will be delivered to the boot of your car for you.
