From humble beginnings, the 'old cow shed' as the shop is still lovingly called is the vision of George Mount, who took selling potatoes from the farm gate to a whole new level.

With fruit and veg, jams and chutneys, ready meals, frozen goodies, a range of alcohol, chocolate treats, cakes and biscuits, eggs and bread, meat from Clarke's of Queniborough, store cupboard items and not to mention the new zero waste range of pulses, flour, nuts etc as well as cards and gifts, it is safe to say we don't just sell potatoes anymore!

Roots is on a working farm and first and foremost we are farmers, and hope we have a great shop for you to come and enjoy, meet our amazing team and feel part of the Roots Family, as our adventure only continues with a great team and amazing customers.
